Grand Rounds

Dr. John Lapuma has Grand Rounds 3.16 this week. He calls his theme "food as medicine." An interesting batch of posts this week. I tried to leave a comment over there and you have to be "logged in" to leave a comment. Oh well.

If you have no idea what Grand Rounds is, it is a collection of posts collected every week from the medical blogosphere. Next week, GR moves to Kerri's blog called Six Until Me....

Grand Rounds this week reduced the credibility of the entrie project. What a collection of quackery, bad science and nutritional voodoo.

You know, I did not want to say anything in my post. But, quickly glancing at this week's issue - I dunno. Something did not feel right to me.

Maybe I was just used to a different type style of presentation, or maybe it was something else. In general, this week's issue has been well received. But, to me, it just seemed different.

I am glad to see your comment. I am a biological scientist with a focus on nutrition, as well as a medical professional of 30 years. The articles at Grand Rounds this week were predominately very unsound science and it was sad to see medical professionals promoting such nonsense. I posted a comment at the site, but it was not allowed to be published.
