Thanks so much to DG and Tiffany Hollums for being guests on Show 108 talking about them going through the adoption process. I began the discussion by asking them how they met. We then went into their efforts to have a child naturally, which was unsuccessful. Their next step was going through years of fertility treatments - first in Texas, then in Kentucky. One interesting detail which I didn't know is that they are both ministers and achieved Masters degrees in this discipline in the midst of all of this.
There was a point in the process where they decided to stop the treatments. This was a very difficult time for the both of them. "I was mourning a loss," Tiffany said during this interview. Then, it was their dear friends who suggested that they consider going through the adoption process (Check out their adoption website here). The final part of the interview talks about where they are right now in this process - which is still early on. I wish the best of luck to the both of them.
