Thanks so much to Brandice for being on Doctor Anonymous Show 159. She is a social worker at a hospital and for the first part of the show, we talked about the care of geriatric patients - especially those with a diagnosis with dementia. There are a bunch of medical and psychosocial issues that these patients and these families have to deal with. In the video clip above, Brandice gives advice to families in considering some differences between extended care facilities.
