BA Meeting

Attention members of Blogaholics Anonymous and you know who you are! Because of our meeting yesterday, I am the first chairperson of our fair group. I thank you for this honor and I'll do my best to serve as your chair.

For my first task, I've taken the liberty to deem this "THE Official Un-Official Site" for our group. Warren Buffett graciously donated the funds to get this site up an running. Thank you Warren, you're quite a philanthropist!

Just to let you know, today's meeting is taking place over at Cathy's place. So, don't be late! Don't forget to bring a covered dish and your favorite dessert. As always, everyone is welcome to attend. For prospective new members, all you have to do is click here and take the first step ==> Admit you are powerless over blogging.

Conquering blogaholism.... One day at a time....

Hmmm ... this sounds like the beginning of a new blogariphic sort of happening ...

Blogaholics Anonymous meetings!

Sounds like fun!

Okay Doc ... how often do you prescribe we have them? :o)

Moof, We can have the meetings as often as the group sees necessary. I like group process and group decision making. I don't like being a dictator.

However, these meetings would have to be BYOB -- bring your own BLOG! (WHEW! I've been waiting six hours to tell that joke - an eternity!)

okay...so I blog. And when I'm not blogging, I'm combogulating up more blogs in my mind. But I could quit if I wanted to! Really, I'm serious! I'm a recreational blogger, that's all.

We need to put a standard operating procedure in place for families who have blogging additions.

An FBI maybe? Family Blogging Intervention

On a first date not too long ago, I went out to dinner with this guy, and then we went walking through the King of Prussia Mall while waiting to go to the movies. I think there were about 5 instances where I said, "I have to write about this on my blog!"

Do I have a problem?

;)

(Oh and Cathy, if you read that comment there, I'm referrring to the guy who brought me a rose on my first date. And I broke it off after date #3...long, almost kinda funny but not really, story!)

Another great meeting today, everybody! Sorry to impose on Cathy. I guess I should have called first before inviting all these people over. Thanks so much for your patience and hospitality.

If anyone would like to host meeting, that would be great! I'll bring the Diet Coke.

how do i apply to host the next meeting? it's just that i have little ones, and i prefer the meeting to be at myplace while i give both of my boys a shot of ativan to keep them away from adults conveersation...

kidding about the ativan, serious about the hosting :)

and oh, again, my name is May, and i am a blogaholic! (geez, i almost sound like i'm proud of it)

Ok ... I will come to the meetings, but only because I want to talk to other bloggers! I refuse to admit I have a problem with blogging! The fact that my blog roll has more people on it than I can count ...and the first thing I do is check my blogs ... and ... it is a hobby ...and it is a way to communicate with those outside my immediate community. It is NOT a problem.

What do you mean my kids have worn the same clothes for 3 days? So? is that a problem?
