I just ate my first, I mean second, ok...damn it my first frozen roll of Thin Mints sans trans fat and well...they did have a funny mouth feel and maybe a little bit of a different taste. But, the roll still disappeared.breadchickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04376772267923924607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29955732.post-33719537278917769462007-02-26T13:53:00.000-05:002007-02-26T13:53:00.000-05:00Haa! In case you haven't ordered enough, found out that the Girl Scouts have finally joined the digital age and created a website that makes it easy to find those tasty cookies (http://www.GirlScoutCookies.org). Also, they’ve posted some groovy vintage cookie ads on MySpace (http://www.MySpace.com/GirlScoutCookieSale). Pretty funny, kitschy TV ads from the 1970’s - definitely worth a look!visitPAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16879993656703548599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29955732.post-49190335260966423052007-02-25T21:41:00.000-05:002007-02-25T21:41:00.000-05:00I do not believe there are so-called 'good' and 'b...I do not believe there are so-called 'good' and 'bad' foods.

When media hype happens, all this domino effect crap starts. I'm a weight loss success story (85 pounds and still working on losing!), and I've NEVER given up a single favorite food, including--you guessed it--GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! They're taking the taste of the 1980's away from us and it sucks (c'mon you know what I'm talking about, haha).

Any food in moderation, along with some of nature's candy (i.e. fruits & veggies), is pretty much OK, if you ask me. People don't die from eating. They die from OVEReating. That goes for any fats--trans or saturated or whatever. I hate fad dieting, and this trans fat thing just perpetuates more fad diets. There isn't only one thing that makes us sick and/or fat. That's just my two cents worth. ;-P

Needless to say, I'm with you on this thing. Sorry for the rant. I'm quite passionate about anything food/weight related.Professional Dreamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02467882134736929684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29955732.post-41566963992932131092007-02-25T16:30:00.000-05:002007-02-25T16:30:00.000-05:00The Trefoils, thank you very much!
